Who we are
​Downtown Morris Plains (DMP) is a volunteer-driven 501(c)3 non-profit committed to the continued economic, social, and cultural enrichment of our downtown. Through partnerships, fundraising, and events, Downtown Morris Plains initiates and funds projects that benefit our businesses and residents, and attract interest from beyond the Borough of Morris Plains.
2025 Pumpkin Illumination
The 3rd annual Pumpkin Illumination will take place on Friday, October 24th! We've made some changes in order to best support our local businesses and plan a festive and fun evening downtown!

2024 Bike Rack Design Contest
Bike Racks are Ready!
This collaborative initiative with Morris Arts is aimed at helping make our town safer while incorporating art in a meaningful new way. In 2024 we received design entries from individuals, groups, teams, and businesses and our judges selected a winner! Three initial racks has been fabricated by a local metalworker and are ready for installation!
