Downtown Morris Plains

What better way to celebrate 100 years of Morris Plains than with live music, good food, local favorites and a night together downtown? On Saturday, September 26 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, the Morris Plains Centennial Committee is bringing Music on Merch, a mini music festival, to the Merchant Block. The street will be closed to traffic for the evening, creating a walkable, outdoor gathering space right in the heart of our downtown.

We reached out to ask a simple question: What do residents want to see in Morris Plains? DMP teamed up with Plan Better Morris Plains this spring and find out. The response was clear and remarkably consistent.
