Festive Fun for Everyone

The annual Morris Plains Pumpkin Illumination will return to the Morris Plains Merchant Block on Friday, Oct. 30, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. This year event host, Downtown Morris Plains, is calling for pumpkin carvers of all ages to add their jack-o-lanterns to a Grand Pumpkin Display of centennial proportions as we celebrate the borough's 100th anniversary. This free, family-friendly event also features the Morris Plains Business Pumpkin Carving Contest onsite so attendees can view and vote for their favorite design.

Not carving? No problem. Join to snap selfies at the grand pumpkin showcase, then stick around for music, food and beverages, seasonal fun, and treats and surprises from local vendors.
