The energy in Morris Plains was palpable during our recent DMP Business Networking Night at Chocolatine Patisserie on Speedwell Avenue. The event brought together a diverse group of local business owners, community stakeholders, and public officials, all eager to connect, share ideas, and support our local business community. With over 60 attendees, this gathering reinforced the power of collaboration to spark new opportunities for businesses to grow.
A Gathering of Local Leaders and Business Owners
The event drew a mix of new and long-time businesses from Morris Plains and surrounding areas. Special guests included Morris Plains Mayor, Jason Karr; Morris Plains Borough Councilmembers Nancy Verga and Bill Houston; New Jersey Assemblyman, Brian Bergen; and Michele Feldman of the Morris County Economic Development Corporation. Their participation underscored the importance of local government and county organizations in supporting economic development within our business community.
