Morris Plains Centennial Circuit Supports Local Dining

Thank you for joining us this August to celebrate 100 years of Morris Plains cuisine for the Centennial Circuit promotion. To win the exclusive Centennial Circuit prize (a Downtown Morris Plains 10 oz YETI cup featuring the centennial logo), participants needed to spend $10 or more at 10 different Morris Plains restaurants in August and log their visits on the Downtown Morris Plains website.

Participants headed out 360+ times to local restaurants to sample the delicious food and beverages in Morris Plains, spending over $12,200.

Centennial Circuit diners enjoyed the full variety of Morris Plains' 25 restaurants, including everything from quick bites and counter service staples to cozy diners and our beloved traditional steakhouse. Did you know dining options in Morris Plains include Italian, Indian, Japanese, Korean, Mediterranean, Mexican, and American cuisine, plus a French bakery, ice cream shop, and more? The most visited restaurants in the circuit included some of our quick-bite, counter service favorites: Scoop Station, Chocolatine Cafe, and Dunkin' Donuts. But participants used most of their budget for full meal experiences; Arthur's Tavern, Ugly Dumpling, and Kiori Kitchen attracted the highest spend during the promotion.

"We ate at some favorite places and tried new ones too."

Congratulations and thank you to all our winners! We were so impressed to see over 40% of participants completed the Circuit. DMP volunteers will be distributing prizes on September 12, 2026 at the Morris Plains Farmers Market. Thank you to all everyone who participated and each of our local restaurants for choosing Morris Plains. Let's keep dining local to support restaurants in town!
