The annual Morris Plains Pumpkin Illumination will return to the Morris Plains Merchant Block on Friday, Oct. 30, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Thank you to everyone who helped make our 2nd annual Morris Plains Pumpkin Illumination even bigger and brighter! We are so excited to continue this fun tradition that brings our community and visitors to town to enjoy the event and connect with local businesses. Congratulations to the 2024 winners of the Business Pumpkin carving contest! We tallied over 1,200 votes and the results are in. Thanks to all of the businesses that participated and to everyone who visited and voted

Attracting 1,000+ residents and visitors to enjoy a grand display of glowing pumpkins at Merchant Block, the event featured 150+ jack-o-lanterns and 25+ local vendors.
