Morris Plains Pumpkin Illumination Was a Smashing Success

We were thrilled to see the Morris Plains Pumpkin Illumination bring the community together this weekend for some enjoy spooky fun and to support local businesses. Attracting 1,000+ residents and visitors to enjoy a grand display of glowing pumpkins at Merchant Block, the event featured 150+ jack-o-lanterns and 25+ local vendors.

Increased foot traffic benefitted local restaurants and retailers both at the event and throughout the weekend as patrons visited storefronts to view and vote for their favorite design in the event's business pumpkin carving contest. Congratulations to Seasons Salon for winning first-place with a whimsical recreation of the witches from Hocus Pocus!
